Miles P. Welo is an attorney practicing in Cleveland, Ohio, who advises clients on a broad range of transactional issues, including entity structure and formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, contract negotiation, corporate governance, and estate planning and tax matters. For many clients, he serves as fractional General Counsel.

Miles works closely with business owners and counsels them through the various stages of their growth process: from start to exit. For families, Miles advises clients on estate planning, succession planning, gift and estate tax planning, charitable planning, and probate matters.

From 2022 to 2026, Miles has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyers “Rising Star”. In 2017, Miles was selected by Crain’s Cleveland Business as a member of their “Twenty in their 20s” class, recognizing young professionals who help set the course of Northeast Ohio into the future. Miles advises numerous athletes and entertainers, and sports-related businesses, including NFL athletes, NBA executives, PGA Tour professionals, and professional musicians. Miles is a former Certified Contract Advisor (Agent) for the National Football League.

Miles graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law with honors, and received his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. Miles resides in Rocky River, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
